I can confirm the sale of white iPhone 4's here in Belgium at a couple of retail stores. Just picked up a 32gb model this afternoon.
After all, I prefer the black model. Anyone interested? :)
Please take photos of the dock connector and the headphone jack :).

Great...10 months after the fact.
Oh well it's just a different colour. I would hope that no one actually waited for a white iPhone 4 until now.

FB, thanks for passing that along. I had not found that elsewhere, although I had looked.
The page http://eshop.macsales.com/shop/memory/Apple_MacBook_MacBook_Pro/Upgrade/DDR3 says you need MacOS 10.6.6.
"You must be running Snow Leopard to address 8GB on these systems."
Did you look on the site before asking your question here?

Show me the laws that force a dress code on foreign visitors.
Sometimes I wish they would.
I have been too many times ashamed of European *tourists* stumbling fat arsed and skimpily dressed through a bazaar or market or ruined temple.
Yes, its hot. We all are. But have some common sense, jeeeze.
Who knows if "the male" in Western cultures actually wants to wear a suit and tie?
This Western male says:
Suit 'n tie? "No thanks."

musicians who travel a lot (like me) would appreciate having this functionality for sure.
I can imagine that a lot of electronic musicians who perform live would want touch-sensitive triggers like on a drum machine

While many will disagree with my point of view, I think this is just more evidence that Apple and Google with be the 2 major players duking it out. The one that should really worry here is not Apple but RIM. On the bright side, this will just force both iOS and Android to get better and better as they compete with each other. Both platforms have come a long way I can't way for the next smackdown!
1)I think with Apple reportedly not releasing the iPhone 5 till 2012, that is a huge open door for Android and RIM to come in and grab more share/customers.
2)I don't think the iOS has come a long way...I have the 3GS model which is 3+ years old...the only difference between the 3GS and the 4 is better camera/video and Facetime. iOS has barely changed. I have NUMEROUS iOS enhancements that Apple could put into the iPhone yet they still do not exist. iPhone 3/4 is very nice, but I have to tell you that as I see more and more Androids out there, the Androids look extremely competitive if not better than iPhone.
3)Don't underestimate RIM/Blackberry. They OWN the business space. Too bad Apple has never figured out how to play/sell well to businesses otherwise iPhone would likely have killed Blackberry by now. My wife got the new Torch...although it's no iPhone, it's quite a nice device and is PAID FOR by her company like 99% of "company" phones so whatever shortcomings about Blackberry, she's not paying for it like a general consumer. My bet is that RIM will try extremely hard to make their Blackberries better with touchscreen and web surfing. But the primary reason for a BB in business is not web surfing or playing angry bird games or watching Youtube...it's email/calendar, notifications, and some business apps.

Australia has affordable quality healthcare. Well, probably like the British healthcare. Is that quality?
Whether or not the UK has quality healthcare is up for debate. But what it does have is low cost and access.
In my personal experience, and according to WHO rankings, France has the best healthcare in the world.
Japan is ranked #10 according to the world health organization.
The US is ranked #37  Most of that has to do with poor access. The wealthy get the best care, arguably in the world. Sucks for the bottom 95% though.

Funny part is, most people who are opposing the mosque aren't jews, they're christians. As a matter of fact, BLOOMBERG (can't get anymore jewish than that) is a supporter of the mosque project.
Bloomberg has no choice but to support the Mosque ... he needs to stay politically correct

I actually placed my order for a 2gb iMac with the 256mb graphics on the 31st.. They told me I could wait 3 days for just the ram upgrade or 2-4 if I wanted the graphics (they had to order a 20" iMac with the graphics upgraded for some reason).
So i'm personally hoping that 2-4 week delay = the new processor in the iMac.
Umm... why did you place an order with WWDC and Paris Expo around the corner?

Please, this is the same or less then pay subscription resellers. Then they have to actually print out a copy and mail it to you.
People who know nothing about publishing should stop commenting on the 30%...

What an ignorant statement
Those who are serious about piercing do it, not in an attempt for individuality, but as a form of self expression, ritual, culture, beauty and art.
I don't think that was an ignorant statement.
I disagree with you; people do get piercings or tattoos partly to be individual; isn't that what self-expression is? I think another reason people get them is to shock people; especially odd ones.
All he was saying is that so many people have tattoos and piercings now, that is really no longer a symbol of individualism; they have become mass market.
I hear it from a lot of people; to be individual now...you shouldn't have a tattoo or piercing.

Oh, most definitely.
Wikipedia: nice idea, shame about the execution. Its greatest strength (i.e. that anyone can alter its content) is also its greatest weakness. I know which of the I would choose, and it would *not* be Wikipedia.
Care to share an example of why you're so suspicious of Wiki???

Next: If Apple names it's next version of iLife, iLife '08, it would brake the routine, but you see Microsoft is not bothered about that so who cares?
I think any Apple fan would know that Apple is ANYTHING but routine.

Phil Schiller is such a bad presenter.
One other thought:
I absolutely agree that Phil was simply terrible. He was the only one on stage who needed to constantly look at the video prompts to get through his slides.
Sure, he had more technical slides to get through, but this is an Apple keynote. Memorize the slides Phil.
I am sure Phil is a great guy with lots of talent. But his attempts at emotion and energy just fell flat. Too many superficial superlatives, IMHO.
Phil needs a lot of coaching by a pro and more practice. Sure, Steve has done these for 20+ years, so it's not fair to compare the two. Nevertheless, Phil really needs to kick it up a notch. He needs to be more charismatic and more himself. Don't try to be Steve.

I can buy radio direction finders and transmitters online and do the same.
Or I can buy GPS trackers, and also stick it on someone's car.
Those solutions are easier, more accurate, etc......and not terribly expensive. That speaks to the point these researchers are making. They used the Nike+iPod Sport Kit as their example, but their message is that all sorts of gadgets with wireless communications capabilities can have these types of problems, especially if thought isn't give to the issue during design.

I swear to God, I hope iDVD isn't gone completely but more integrated into iMovie or something along those lines. iDVD is one of my favorite applications in the iLife suite.
The 64-bit rewrite thing is pretty awesome though. Hopefully iTunes will be a part of that (doubt it though).
I really want iDVD to stick around (just like I'd like DVD studio Pro to get some more lovin') but I wonder if Apple may be making a general interactive export app.
Basically, an application that can not only export to DVD, but also an intractive Quicktime file, or a small self contained mac/iOS app, or (to iWeb (HTML5/CSS3/Javascript)
I don't know, I doubt that would happen but it would still be pretty awesome.
I'll stick with my iLife '08+iMovie HD solution instead. Apple's gotten many things right with looking forward (early adoption/centering around USB vs legacy ports etc.), but this time I'm not seeing the draw. Oh well. Then again, I'm still a fan of Quicktime 7 Pro, so go figure ;)
+1 QT 7 Pro (hopefully Quicktime X will get there someday)

Why do some ppl hate everything that comes from Microsoft? Oh wait...this is a Mac forum! :o
We don't. All the regulars here own more than 1 console, some own all. Some own all AND THEN SOME (glares at MRU).
I hope you know that the XBox has the highest attach rate (games per system) and it also sports 2 of the most blockbuster series ever. Here's the footage from the actual demo for you to judge for yourself rather than just spew your, OMG, this is soooo stooopid rants. I think some of you are jealous that you will be clobbered by all the tiny-teens that will play this...and litterally beat you to the ground!
The Wii's attach rate is only fractionally behind the Xbox's.
Good use of wording, since Nintendo own the 2 most blockbuster series ever (Pokemon+Mario).
Ironically the last thing you said makes you sound like one of those tiny-teens.

Voice and gesture control for videos? We've had voice control on OSX for years. I used to hook my Mac up and use it as a media centre. Number of times I tried voice control? A few. Number of times it was any use or better than the little Mac remote? None.
The Wii Fit wast $100 and it was only for exercise...and they sold 22 million of them.
I don't think they really need anything really high rez to get the outline of your body. But maybe in a future version where it might recognize facial expressions like in some of those old demos...you'd either have to be close, or need a Kinect 2. And you gotta be pretty darn fast to make 30 fps not fast enough for some of these games I think. Unless you're like a karate master. ;)
Wii Fit was 60 when it launched here. Natal/Kinect looks to be double that. It's not a small difference.
A lot of current gen games run at 60fps. 30fps camera input would mean the camera has to guess what you're doing for half that time. Which could be very noticeable in these action games they keep demoing.
Try it if you have a video camera now. Double the frames would mean a better interpretation of any precise movement, be it fast or slow. I guess it's limited to 30 due to resource costs with the ram/CPU. There's already a lag, can you imagine if that lag was doubled?
Just because you have a narrow mind and can’t see past shooting aliens over and over again while mashing buttons, doesn’t mean that what you do defines gaming!
That's why RPGs and Tower Defence games dominate my PSP library, platformers dominate my DS library and pinball and Rockband are the only games I play on my Xbox. Who in this thread are you trying to stereotype?
