If you have a job, getting a work permit will take only 4 hrs inside the consulate. No line. Give the passport and come back within 4 hrs to collect it.

Hi All..
I am on H1 since Oct 07. I haven't left USA so far and so I haven't gone for stamping. However, I heard that I need to go to stamping before completion of 1yr after getting H1. Is this true? and to what cases does this rule apply?
Please help. I am confused.
Thanks,
rkdnc9.

Bush said he wants to improve the working visas, I think the prority needs to offer to Canadians because Canadinas use the same language and education system, the distance is closer. We need to call all the senetors, the working visas.etc. need to go to Canadina citizens first.
I agree, except.... if canada is similar and so close to the United States, why would you want to come here:confused:
:D
Good try, anyhow.;)

Regards
I filed on August 15th 2007 and Receipt date is Oct'12

You don't need an EAD to study full-time. Only if you are planning to work as as a graduate assistant while you study would you need an EAD. You are already in valid parolee status.

If you have receipt # of your I-485, filing or refiling I-765 and I-131 is a simple task. You can do that after 30 days, as suggested by USCIS. It is not a big loss anyway. Main thing is I-485.

Fred, try some pictures with the kids looking away, perhaps throwing her hair back and laughing, get him to point at the source of the mirth, that kind of thing. Then you have a different portrait..
