I was following a tutorial that was for photoshop 7 and all was going well untill it said to drag the "grid channel" onto the "load channel as a section"...!!!

You'd have to reapply for I140 for the new company. The one you had approved for the old company will not be valid for the new company.

You have to be "in-status" to apply for AOS. The IO wants evidence of your continued non-immigrant status before you filed your AOS. Also, remember AOS does not grant you a status. It just lets you not accrue unlawful presence

Not a lawyer- but my guess is that the date of validity on your H1b (First H1) is the day you can start counting your 6 years. This is regardless of when you started working for your employer.
Example: Employer sponsored H1 for Mr.X on April 2nd 2005. H1 approved with validiity starting 1st oct 2005. Mr. X flew to the USA in december 2005. Started working 15th jan 2006. The 6 years are counted from 1st Oct 05.
Now one can recapture all the months that the employee was on vacation. But I am not sure if this is still an option.
The six year count starts from the day you entered the US first. If you take the above example, six year count starts from December 2005. Additionally, if there is gap from the time you entered and started working that period is considered out of status, that's all together different issue.

I had a lot of emotional and financial distress upon my graduation and I didn't get to apply for OPT. What do I do?
I mean I know I need to go speak with the dept that handles intl students in my school?

I'm assuming too that your husband is the primary applicant for the I-485. Does your husband have his I-140 approved because if he does then I believe he can file for 3 year extension? In my opinion, it's good to have your H1 or H4 intact just in case something happens to your application. I also think that having EAD and AP also benefits you for emergency purposes. Hope this helps!

You don't have to worry about it, if you e-file. When you e-file, the version of the forms that gets filled out by USCIS is way old. I am sure its a bug but I guess USCIS will accept it because it was e-filed.

I moved to a different place (same city), but my wife is out of country. I am trying to file AR-11 for change of address, but it is asking for Last Port of entry. Is AR11 needed only for people who are currently in the country.
She needs to fill-in new address in the I-94 form at the time of reentry into the US. She won't need to file AR-11, as her I-94 has most recent address.
Please verify this with your attorney.

1) Do I need to take Affidavit of Support docs(form I 864), my 485 is employment based and not family based(I am the primary applicant)
2)Do I need to take Original I 140 and Original Labor approved doc
also please let me now if some one have been to such interviews and if there are any suggestion?

You can use EAD with current employer. I think your company has to do the change your I9 form to EAD. You don't need to inform as you are not changing any company.
